Urban Explorers

The aims of this group are:

• To enjoy tranquil walks around our city
• To learn more of the heritage of this area
• To explore some of the parks and reserves
• To appreciate the diversity of Christchurch and its surrounds

Urban Explorers is a walking group with a difference. We will explore the city and its surrounds and learn more about the history of each area, its hidden gems – the parks and reserves, and enjoy our environment. There will be a convivial coffee at some stage. No hill walks are planned.

There is a large group showing interest so the same exploration will be taken on the 2nd Tuesday and the 3rd Thursday of each month with start time for most – 10am – if we are going further afield that may be a little earlier. Everyone’s input is welcome, about the area we are visiting and any other interesting walks
